New Municipal Accounts
Council Solutions New Municipal Accounts Service Includes:
- Advise of your new account number once it has been opened
- Rates and Refuse will first be linked to your new account and thereafter sewer, water and/or electricity charges will be linked to the same account.
- A deposit will then be raised on your account of which you will be advised of the amount in order to pay the required deposit, which is then refundable after you have sold your home.
- All accounts will only be opened in the name of the registered owner.
- Weekly follow up with council until the first account has been invoiced and forward you a copy
- We will check that all services are in order and the postal address has been correctly captured – we will not close our file until we are sure that our customer is satisfied
